A Skyline Drive Surprise Proposal | Malachi & Gracie

Some moments only happen once, and we were honored to be there to capture this one.

When Malachi reached out about photographing his proposal to Gracie, we knew it was going to be something special. After weeks of planning and keeping the secret, the day had finally arrived.

The setting could not have been more perfect. The Point Overlook on Skyline Drive offered breathtaking mountain views, and God blessed us with an incredible sunset that made the evening even more memorable.

While Gracie thought she was simply enjoying a scenic drive, Malachi had something much bigger planned.

With the mountains stretching out behind them and the sun beginning to dip below the horizon, he got down on one knee and asked the question that would change their lives forever.

The look on Gracie’s face said it all. The surprise, excitement, joy, and love shared between these two made for a truly unforgettable moment. These are the moments we love capturing most. The real ones. The ones that can never be recreated.

After she said yes, we spent some time exploring the overlook and capturing portraits of the newly engaged couple. Between the mountain views, golden light, and excitement of the evening, every photo felt like a celebration of the beginning of a new chapter.

We also made sure to include another important part of their story, Malachi’s Corvette. It was only fitting that the car that helped bring them to this unforgettable moment made an appearance in a few photos as well. Those personal touches are often the details that make memories even more meaningful years down the road.
